Out of the box, expect to make nothing. Because the Bitaxe is configured to run on a solo pool. Running bitaxe on a solo pool is like expecting to win the lottery.
It may happen. You may get lucky. But the chances are next to zero.
However, if you choose to put your Bitaxe on a shared pool here’s what I’ve found after running it for a few weeks.
You can expect to make a whopping 3 cents per day before expenses.
3 cents per day means about 90 cents per month. And 90 cents per month means about 10-11 dollars per year.
So don’t expect to get rich off a single Bitaxe.
The value of Bitaxe is the learning opportunity and the cheap cost of entry into the world of bitcoin mining.
The reality is that you will probably never make back the price you paid for your Bitaxe, especially as bitcoin difficulty levels increase with time.
